In recent years, with the in-depth development of the national fitness campaign in China, the production and manufacturing of fitness equipment has been developing rapidly. However, due to the lack of uniform quality standards and inadequate market specifications, many companies are doing their own thing and copying each other. Product design is not. Reasonable, can not achieve the effect of training, and some even counterproductive, as well as companies in order to compete in price, hesitate to cut corners, shoddy, etc., resulting in uneven quality of the product, due to the quality of accidents occurred. After joining the WTO, there will be a large number of domestic sports goods going abroad. If we still do not have a standard with a high baseline, we will lose the competitiveness of the international market. In this regard, the State Sports General Administration and the whole society are very concerned about, as soon as possible to develop a standard of fitness equipment with international standards has become an imminent task in China's fitness equipment manufacturing industry.
In order to standardize the production, sales, installation and use of outdoor fitness equipment (fitness paths) and ensure the safety of the general public, the project was approved by the National Standardization Administration Committee and led by the State General Administration of Sport, jointly with some manufacturers and the National Sports Goods Quality Supervision and Inspection Center. The joint formulation of the "Requirements" was completed. This "requirement" addresses key requirements for the use of safety in terms of product structure, static load capacity, stability, safety warnings, equipment installation and site requirements, and years of safe use.
Experts agreed that the content of the standard is relatively comprehensive, scientific and reasonable, practical and operational, and has important guiding significance and current significance for regulating the design, production, installation of the outdoor fitness equipment in China and promoting the development of the national fitness campaign. International level.
Leaders of the State General Administration of Sports, the National Standardization Management Committee, the China Light Industry Confederation, and the China Standardization Association, as well as the China Association of Culture, Education and Sporting Goods, the National Sports Goods Quality Supervision and Inspection Center, the Beijing Municipal Sports Bureau, the Tianjin Sports Bureau, the Beijing University of Sport and the Shenyang Institute of Physical Education Experts from the Beijing Institute of Sports & Sports Products and some corporate representatives attended the validation meeting.
It is expected that the national standard will be implemented in the second half of 2003. The formulation and implementation of this standard will inevitably guide the R&D and production of China's fitness path product manufacturers, which will greatly promote the overall level of fitness path products.
